The surgery will be closed on the afternoon of the 31st March 2010. This to allow for staff training and development within the practice.
The surgery will be closed from 12 noon on the Wednesday 31st March and reopen at 8am on the Thursday 1st April.

Please note that the practice will be closed for the following public holiday on

Please ensure you have enough medication to cover this period. It may also be helpful to keep a small supply of paracetamol and other minor ailment medication at home to cover this time.

All children aged from six months to under five years of age are now eligible to have the swine flu vaccine. If you would like your child to be vaccinated please arrange a suitable appointment with reception.
If you DO NOT wish your child to have the swine flu vaccine, it is important to inform reception so that your child’s records can be updated.
As of Monday the 9th of November we will no longer be closed over lunch time. Opening hours on a Mon, Tues,Thurs and Friday will be 8am - 6.30pm. The surgery will still close on a Wednesday at 12.00 and open again at 1.30pm.
The Flu vaccine campaign will be underway by the beginning of October. Patient who are eligible are aged 65 and over and or/have a chronic disease. For those who fall into the above categories but do not wish to have the flu vaccination please contact us so that your records can be amended. Carers will also be considered to protect those most at risk should their care receiver fall ill. A carer is considered to be someone who provides help and support to another person who could not manage without their help; this could be due to age, physical or mental illness or disability.
Dr Thomson is now doing a monthly Implanon Clinic. This is a new contraceptive service now available within our Practice. If you would like any information or advice, please contact reception and make an appointment with our Practice Nurse Karen Osborne, who will discuss this service with you before arranging an appointment for Dr Thomson.
